Green Infrastructure Vision 2.2: GIV Refinement

Documentation that classifies green infrastructure resources based upon various ecological characteristics. This approach identifies priority areas for conservation through an analysis of the quality and contiguousness of landscapes. These characteristics can inform conservation and restoration strategies that protect large and unfragmented preserves to small, high-quality remnant ecosystems. The data and analysis is provided in two reports: the first covers the CMAP seven-county region and the second covers the remainder of the Chicago Wilderness region that extends from Wisconsin to Michigan. For GIV GIS data, see dataset “Green Infrastructure Vision Data.”
