Shapefile: 2050 Projections by Local Allocation ...
GIS shapefile representing small-area CMAP forecasts of population, households and employment, with base-year (2015) estimates and projections at five-year intervals to the year 2050. Local Allocation Zone (LAZ) areas represent subzones used in CMAP’s travel demand model, subdivided by municipal (2010) boundaries and Chicago Community Areas for more refined analyses. These projections are the result of modeling procedures which incorporate a number of factors represented at a variety of scales; as such, they cannot be considered precise at any specific location. These data are only appropriate for planning purposes when aggregated to larger areas. For more information, please refer to part 2 of the ON TO 2050 Appendix: Socioeconomic Forecast. 8MB (compressed), 20MB (uncompressed)
